May 28th – Various venus, Bristol

Less than a week after the excitement of the BBC 6 Music festival and fringe events, Dot To Dot Festival – which takes place in venues all around Bristol for one magical day a year – has decided to release its first wave of acts, almost as if they knew we were still dealing with a hangover from the BBC 6 weekend.

2016’s big headliners are indie titans The Mystery Jets, with The Temper TrapRat Boy, Lauren Aquilina and Sundra Karma bolstering the line up. Though Dot to Dot haven’t yet announced the other headliner (who doesn’t love a good surprise), just the mere presence of bands like The Japanese House and Ardyn should convince you that it’s going to be a big one.

For those of you that haven’t been before, you simply purchase a wristband from Dot to Dot’s website for a very reasonable £25. This will then give you access to gigs all across the city, in venues like the O2, Start the Bus and Trinity.
