Bristol’s Golden Age is a video series from the mind of LICE’s Alastair Shuttleworth. Exploring the ins-and-outs of our bustling scene, each mini-documentary features a chat with the artists in question plus a few live gems. He previously worked on a four part series for Howling Owl entitled ‘The Howling Owl Family’ and has produced stand-alone features for Spectres and IDLES.
The seventh edition is a look at Rink – an act who produce polished yet poignant tracks with a gorgeous honesty at their core. As Shuttleworth explains, “their goth-psych pop has seen them quickly become one of the most talked about new bands in Bristol.” Featuring footage of their set at The Louisiana and an in-depth interview, get to know Rink – a band that are putting the sparkle in Bristol’s Golden Age.
Watch Bristol’s Golden Age with Rink below and keep up with Shuttleworth’s documentaries over on UBTV.
