With March seemingly rebelling against the idea that it should be Spring, plunging us into a second winter (seriously, I was hailed on the other day, HAILED ON), it’d probably be best to wrap yourself up in festival news.

Glastonbury have been kind enough to announce the longlist of entries for the Glastonbury Emerging Talent competition. The thousands of acts entered have been whittled down, with some help from some of our team, to only 120 entries. Among the selected are Bristol Live Magazine picks GLASS, MKAI and Mellor as well as Bristol-faves Kayla Painter and Tamu Massif and Art is Hard records Early Ghost.

The lucky winner will get the chance to play a slot on one of the festival’s main stages and will also be given £5000 by PRS for Music Foundation Talent Development, while two runners up will be awarded £2500.

Head over to the Glastonbury site now to see which blogs voted for which artists, as well as bios and further listening.
