One song dominated most of 2007 and it came from a little-known London singer-songwriter called Kate Nash. ‘Foundations’ soon became a student-staple, taking over indie club nights and dorm bedrooms, catapulting the then 20-year-old into British superstardom.

Taken from album ‘Made of Bricks’, the LP spawned singles ‘Mouthwash’, ‘Pumpkin Soup’ and ‘Merry Happy’, solidifying Nash as one of the most exciting and refreshing acts of the late 00s.

Nash has since released two more albums: 2010’s ‘My Best Friend Is You’ and 2013’s ‘Girl Talk’ and new EP called ‘Agenda’, which came out on Record Store Day. She’s currently starring in Netflix’s ‘GLOW’.

To celebrate Made of Bricks‘ 10th anniversary, Nash will be embarking on a special one-off tour, which stops off in Bristol on Sunday 6th August. Expect rousing sing-a-longs to some of Britain’s best indie-pop gems and a room full of people screaming “BITTAAAAAAA!!”
