Monthly show NightBus relaunches this month with a new season of bands at their spiritual home of Mr Wolf’s.
Every third Saturday sees team NB throw a deftly-curated bash of emerging acts for a community who’ve come to trust each stop they make. “We try and combine our knowledge, pull in all the favours and put on our favourite new and local bands,” says co-organiser Paul James, who manages the Wolfs in-house calendar by day. “We put the extra time into putting on great shows that we simply can’t do in our day-to-day jobs.”
Speaking of what the three-act bills have to offer for 2017, Paul tell us: “As the rest of the year goes on we have Bite The Buffalo, The Greasy Slicks, Port Erin, Imperail Daze (check them out), and many more. Followed by our very own Ricky (aka The Conductor!) DJ-ing the afterparty until 4am.”
Clearly not short of quirks, they’re even offering a free drink to those buying an advance ticket through Bristol Ticket Shop. After all, independent outfits coming together is what Bristol is all about.
All this for a mere £3 – that’s less than First Bus day rider, if I’m not mistaken?
