Reading & Leeds 2014 | Lineup Announcement

With online suspense mounting over the last few weeks, Reading & Leeds have just dropped the bulk of their lineup - as ever the weekday announcement has undoubtedly sparked some great conversation.

So who’s playing? It’s everything you’d expect really. Despite festival organisers claiming “it’s different from anything we’ve ever done before”, it has to be said it feels more like a game of spot the difference from past posters. There’s your token of quasi-hardcore (Enter Shikari), fix of chart indie (Imagine Dragons) and as per usual some grubby dance acts (Nero). Add to that their staple indie and you’ve got textbook Reading and Leeds.

Moving further down the bill some tempting names do appear, with Fat White Family, Eagulls and Wolf Alice all set of the festival. As a summer stomping ground for angry onesie wearers with too much Stella in their bellies, this year is set to truly continue the ‘fun':
