Have you been living under a rock, that’s inside a cave, situated in outer Mongolia? Well, let me introduce you to Coasts then.

Things don’t get more maritime than this wave-making hook-laden five-piece. ‘Oceans’, the new single from Coasts, takes the sunny trends that have served them so well to create their own space in the zeitgeist.

At first it feels odd to being listening to a sun-drenched calypso romp whilst frost gathers on our office window, but it doesn’t take long to percolate in, as each xylophone tickle and gushing gang vocal fills me with a sense of warm optimism.

Relax guys, Coasts say everything’s going to be alright.

Hard work oozes from everything they do, and with tracks like this we see them landing some serious recognition in 2013.
