Big Naturals - ‘Self Titled’ | Album Review

Masters of noise Big Naturals finally release their self-titled album on their own very label Greasy Trucker, a record of barely contained distortion and untamed samples. Listening to this at 2am, with non-diajetic sirens blaring through the window, its sounds like I’m tuning into the end of the world, and there’s not a whimper in sight. ‘Small Parts’ is a personal favourite, with just under three minutes of beautifully honed feedback, showing the huge level of craftmanship put into this release. This must be the apocalypse, and if something is going to f*ck your ears, it should definitely be the Big Naturals. With a throbbing helping of Sunn style menace, this is spectacular.
