SHE MAKES WAR ‘Slow Puncture 2015′ | Video Premiere

The Bristol-based artist treats us to an all new edit

Laura Kidd is a DIY artist through-and-through

Adopting Bristol as her home only a few years ago, Laura Kidd a.k.a. She Makes War has amassed the kind of cult following that sees her sell-out shows, support the likes of tUnE-yArDs, Nadine Shah and The Levellers and even get some love from BBC 6 Music’s Lauren Laverne. Kidd is a DIY artist through-and-through – shooting her own videos, creating artwork and recording her songs at home with the help of her pups Benji and Alby.

December 4th sees the long-awaited release of her new EP ‘Disarm:15,’ which sees Laura reworking some of her favourite tracks from debut album ‘Disarm,’ marking the fifth anniversary of its release. Playing about 400 gigs since it’s initial release (yes, really), it will no doubt delight fans that have followed Laura since day one. “I wanted to approach the songs I’ve been touring for the last five years with a fresh perspective - I selected the ones that feel the most resonant to me now and the ones I knew would benefit most from a bit of wisdom and hindsight,” she explained.

We’re delighted to premiere the re-worked video edit of ‘Slow Puncture,’ which sees the singer-songwriter going on a city-wide adventure with her trusty two-wheels. She Makes War is also heading out on tour next week, so take a look at the dates below.

Upcoming shows:

Tuesday 1st December - Birmingham - Sunflower Lounge
Wednesday 2nd December - Manchester - The Castle Hotel
Thursday 3rd December - London - Sebright Arms
Friday 4th December - Bristol - The Louisiana
