The Twilight Sad are a three-piece indie rock band hailing from Kilsyth, Scotland. With four albums, a handful of EPs and a self-released live album to their name, the group have earned a solid reputation as one of Scotland’s most promising acts, and the only way is up…

Their 2007 debut, ‘Fourteen Autumns and Fifteen Winters’ saw a long overdue re-release last Record Store Day, which the band toured in support of, performing the album in its entirety. It’s an album that remains a favourite of the die-hard fan and casual listener alike, full of loud-soft dynamics and effects-laden shoegazing that typifies the band’s sound.

Last year’s ‘No One Wants To Be Here and No One Wants To leave’ – a title derived from The Road, in one of the band’s many literary allusions – was met with universally positive reviews and placed highly on several end of year lists. Perhaps their finest work to date and a true refinement of the sound present on ‘Fourteen Autumns…’, the album is testament to the unparalleled calibre of music The Twilight Sad put forth.

The band will embark on a UK tour this April in support of the album, including a date at Bristol’s Fleece set for the 21st.
