If you weren’t already excited enough about this year’s ArcTanGent festival, I’ve got some real good news for you bud. Not only have you got 3 days of riff packed madness waiting for you, but for those who have weekend passes, a special Thursday lineup has also just been announced.
Called the “Returning Allstars Day”, organiser Simon Maltas says that the added day aims “to bring back some of the bands that helped make the first three years of ArcTanGent such a success.” The ArcTanGent alumni they have decided to invite along include Rolo Tomassi, Three Trapped Tigers and MONO, as well as a whole load of others.
And just to make this bonus day all the more perfect, the bands will be alternating between two stage, making sure there’s a constant stream of music all day and absolutely no clashes, with time enough in the middle to “to grab a pint, cocktail or shot” before the next band (mines a piña colada).
It goes without saying that the rest of the weekend will be great, with American Baseball, Toe and La Dispute forming the main weekends line up, along with 70 others. Probably time to buy yourself a weekend ticket yeah?
