Sylvan Esso | Preview

Sylvan Esso hail from, perhaps unexpectedly, North Carolina. The quite beautiful duo, comprised of Amelia Meath and Nick Sanborn, fuse together the latter’s synth-driven production style and the former’s intricately-layered folk vocals in such a way that the songs almost write themselves. Awash with textures both rich and sparse, they create a brand of music that is simply too good to insult with any regular moniker.

Almost a year to the day since dropping their eponymous debut, the pair return to the UK — beginning their tour at our own Marble Factory. For those who missed out last October at their sold-out show at the Louisiana, this is a no brainer.
