As brilliant as Record Store Day in Bristol is, we know you’re worried. As much as you can’t wait to get your grubby mitts on all the 7” singles you’ve been drooling over for the past few weeks, we know that there’s something weighing on you. The logistics.

When are the in-stores happening? Will I be able to get lunch? When shall I schedule in toilet brakes? Don’t worry, we’ve got your back. Here’s a handy roundup for you detailing the little bits that might forget.

Rise will be the basecamp for many taking part in record store related fun tomorrow. For those who have their eye on a special release, or are just a keen bean, the store will be opening at 8am but you can grab coffee and breakfast from downstairs from 6am. Live in-stores are going on all day starting at 9am. Here’s the full list of those performing:

9am - Chuman
11am - Amadou Diagne
12pm - She Makes War
1pm - Nzca Lines
2pm - Flowers
3pm - Nerina Pallot
4pm - Rita Lynch
5pm - Skeleton Frames
6pm - Jesuits
7pm - Barry Adamson

There’s also going to be DJ sets upstairs all days from a whole host of people, including Mike Shawe (Hot Buttered Soul), James Small (Invada FM / E.T.B / Over & Over), Soulwork DJ’s, Paul Walker (Situation / Invada FM), Luke Bag’o’Nails, Ivor Wilson and the Rise staff. They’ve also compiled a nice list of all the releases they’re getting in and in what quantities in this handy spreadsheet.

Stokes Croft’s best independant vinyl store Idle Hands is also making the most of the day, opening at 11am and sticking on a load of DJ’s throughout the day. They promise a smattering of official RSD releases but also a load more of their own special releases. Most importantly though, they invite you to share a beer with them, load up on vinyl and listen to the brilliant list of DJ’s they have playing:

Rough Draft DJs Alex & Ed
Daisy Moon from Brstl
Sam Hall from Idle Hands
DJ Stryda (Dubkasm)
Ossia – bringing with him upfront copies of new Peng Sound
Hodge

Hope that’s helped to calm some of you down. You’ve only got one more sleep now till The Big Day. Now all you have to do is have fun!
